Amanda Cadwell joined Christian Family Solutions in 2014. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Idaho and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota, a registered Tele-Health Counselor for the state of South Carolina and also holds a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider credential, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional credential, and is a Prepare/Enrich premarital assessment facilitator. Amanda incorporates Scripture with behavioral therapies to emphasize wellness through mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual integration. Her therapeutic mission is to support and encourage positive change in clients through practical and realistic feedback and interventions. Her Christian counseling approach can be summed up by these biblical references: 1 Corinthians 10:31 and Romans 5:3-4.

Prior to joining Christian Family Solutions, Amanda worked for almost 10 years in the mental and behavioral health field helping children, teens, and adults with severe mental health issues. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. Amanda has completed an additional year of training in Sports Psychology through California Southern University.

During her counseling internship, Amanda was a counselor for the Idaho National Guard, providing therapy services to soldiers and their families. She also provided therapy to adults and couples in a community setting.
