Ways Julie commonly integrates Christ-centered, Bible-based truths into her current counseling practice:

I wrote my undergraduate thesis on the Theology of the Cross, exploring the concept as demonstrated in the book of Job and relevant applications to Christian counseling. I explore the problem of suffering with clients through a spiritual lens in several ways. I reassure them that God sees and cares about their suffering. I point to God’s unconditional love, remind clients of his surpassing wisdom, and help clients explore ways that God uses suffering to accomplish higher purposes.

—Julie

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 4:9-10
